Bleeding tide now first in rivals recruiting

Jul 18, 2019, 12:14 PM

I posted yesterday that the bleeding tide had a 4 star commit to move them to number two in the recruiting war in both 247 composite and Rivals...

Well, they had another 4 star commit today, which moved them closer to us in the 247 composite (297.92 to 292.42), but to the first spot in Rivals, their 22 recruits gave them 2666 points, while our 18 recruits gave us 2661 points.

This makes the All-In cookout loom large for getting players like Flowe and Burch, which may be needed to take the recruiting title for the first time...

Who cares? We beat 'em when it counts.

The recruiting services need to put less emphasis on

the number of commits. That said, I'd rather beat their brains out in the playoffs than win a mythical recruiting championship.

Hey, this is the first time we have had a chance to get the recruiting title....It has helped get through the dead period. It does not matter to some of you...but allow us this pleasure?

I know we have beaten the bleeding tide with less talent (per the recruiting agencies, not Dabo's recruiting eye), I just think it would be interesting to see Dabo get the better talent and watch what happens!

It would also help psychologically with the opponents...demoralization is a powerful tool, especially for the coots (Oh no! Not only did they win two out of three national titles...now they won a recruiting title...when will it ever stop?).

If we get Flowe, and I believe we will, pretty sure you

won't have to worry about it.

Interesting..read yesterday that Buckies had taken over #1 spot.

Whatever, Those other schools will need #1 or #2 classes to outdo & outplay a Dabo Swinney inspired Team!

Per ESPN, Clemson first, bleeding tide second, Buckies moved to #3, deaf valley #4. So that is ESPN, 247 and rivals...not sure what other service is still out there that could put them first.
