Off week placement for ACC

This post only relates to teams prior to playing Clemson because I don't care about when other teams match up.


The only teams that get off weeks before playing us are FSU and scar. We get off weeks to prepare for those games as well. These are arguably the toughest games after A&M and Syracuse. I think good times for weeks off.

GA Tech obviously off before us since opening the schedule. New scheme but mostly old players. I'm not sure they have the talent on offense yet and they didn't have the talent on defense last year either.

4 other conference opponents have conference games the week before. This means they will have to focus the week before or take a conference loss coming in.

Syracuse has at Maryland the week before. I'm just glad they get a little test the week before since they usually don't play tough games early.

UNC gets App St the week before. Not surprised they get a nice set up before playing us.

We will see if it's the same App St the first year after losing their coach.

Also I don't think UNC's talent was nearly as bad this past season as their coaching.

I'm guessing they will be a much improved team regarding their record.

In fairness to Mack, there could be some formations that we haven't seen in a while on offense and defense from that film study.

Good points, sure seems in past years so many teams get a bye week before they play us. This schedule is a fair one.
