I think Teo has the POTENTIAL to be an All-American player. He is big, is an amazing fielder, big arm, big pop in bat. But lord for some reason he can’t stay on a breaking ball. I think the issue is his confidence 1. And 2. He needs to continue being coached up, perhaps a new coach in the cape cod league with a different hitting approach than Monte could help this summer. He’s already improved between freshman and sophomore year obviously but i honestly believe the guy can be a great player for us if he improves from the plate. A potential 5 tool player, Mike trout esque

I honestly think dugout instruction messes with his head. I was unsure until I saw future MLB Davidson watch a straight down the middle fastball first strike tonight. Teo struggles against the curve but he is a guy that would benefit from no signs from the dugout; just swing away. I could be, most likely be wrong but I think he is stressing over the calls and catching up on counts

Move him up in the lineup and see if that changes his approach to hitting. Playing with a little more pressure might improve his mental attack. Nothing to lose .
