Lay reminds Mickey of Milan Richards?!

Feb 6, 2019, 9:54 AM

I'm assuming that's physically and not projected performance on the field?

I read that. I hope he is more like Leggett in his catching abilities.

I was hoping for Leggett

But would gladly take D. Allen... but Richards?!

Milan is a good kid and solid player. I always hoped he would blossom and have a little bigger impact at TE than he did.

I think i got this one. David Njoku. Lay is a bit taller but to me, that's the best comparison. He played at Miami recently and was drafted in 2017 by the Browns. Galloway is more like Leggett

Based on the comments by Venables about Lay being a physical freak I would say no.

I don't think Richard was ever given that label.

I would not expect a ton of production out of Lay next season however as multiple reports have described him as being very "raw".

It just depends he has the tools it seems we need production out of that position.Especially in the red zone.

More production from TE would be wonderful but I'm not upset with adding another WR in the red zone now that we have more options that are 6'3" and taller.

TBH I'm over all the "pass catching" TE talk. Do we really need one? They're fun when they're mismatch nightmares but sign me up for Tee,Ross,Kendrick,Rodgers. We just need Garrett Williams type TE's for power runs
