Ann Coulter takes a giant dump on Trump on Brietbart.

"The basic factory setting on the perception of Trump is: gigantic doouchebag. This is a man who manufactured fake Time magazine covers featuring himself with the headline, “Donald Trump: The ‘Apprentice’ is a television smash!” so that he could put framed copies of it on the walls of his clubs.
His business is convincing people with lowbrow taste to give him their money.
He’s a vulgar publicity hound who used to call reporters in a fake voice and pretend to be his own PR agent, “John Miller” or “John Barron,” so he could brag that actresses wanted to date him. "

I'm a conservative, and I can't fathom actually going to that site on purpose. I think you're more of a liberal, and would be even less inclined to do so.

someone as despicable as Coulter is calling out Trump...and that it's allowed to be posted on an even more despicable pro-Trump propaganda site.
If Trump is getting hammered by the home crowd that helped get him elected, that's significant.

interesting.
I follow AC on twitter just because it's sort of fun to watch the trainwrecks she generates from time to time.
She's been trending and building in this direction for 4-5 months now, with her criticisms of Trump and the lack of any real wall progress building.
I can't tell if this article was her finally being fed up with Trump and venting, or if this was some scorched Earth strategy to try to get him to move in her direction. If it was the latter, it appears to have worked on the surface, although all the twitterverse is now aglow with "Trump unfollows Coulter" comments.

but this is pretty much what people like me (who can't stand the man but like more of his results than we dislike) have been saying all along.
There's not some giant revelation sweeping the nation.
In 2020, it won't be a popularity contest, it'll be an examination of the balance sheet of what his first four years have accomplished (or not accomplished).

You may have liked some of his results, but you weren't in love with the man and hanging on every single action/word he said. Those who did do that are going to start turning soon so they're not associated with him.

GGL had a decent level of intelligence and could at least try to appeal to some level of intellect with his commentary.
Hannity is a complete and total dope. He is the Florida Georgia Line of the talk circuit.

questioning the intelligence of a highly successful person....I think it's a good practice. I'm convinced though with Hannity it's an empty suit...there's nothing there. He's the frat boy who's buddy's dad got him a sweet gig and he's managed to drink enough booze with the right guys to get where he is.
I can't even listen to his show---to your point, if you tuned in on a Friday, it would sound just like the show from Monday, or the Friday a month ago. I honestly don't get how even the dumbest of the dumb derive any entertainment from it.

Continued Individual tax cuts for W2 taxpayers (in some states) ?
Deficit reduction? (Long forgotten conservative plank)
Stock market performance? Sustained economic growth?
De-nuclearization of North Korea?
Elimination of border issues?
Stability in the Middle East? Containment of Islamic terrorists?
Trade agreement with China that reduces trade deficit AND technology theft?
Containment of Russian expansionism ?
Count me in with General Mattis on this one - Preservation and enhancement of traditional alliances such as NATO?

what things will look like in November 2020. If I did I'd go ahead and do a massive reallocation of my portfolio one way or another.
IMHO, where things stand primarily in the following areas in early-mid 2020 will go a long ways to determining Trump's longevity....
-Economy---specifically market performance, job creation/unemployment, and wage growth -Border security---has any real progress been made? -Global issues - are things relatively quiet or are we in some new cold war with Russia/China?
Other things you mentioned are important but the average voter views them as nuanced issues that don't directly impact them on a 1:1 basis. Bottom line, on an individual basis, do they feel safer and more prosperous?

It is unfortunate our politics are so partisan and government so dysfunctional.
The loss of integrity amongst leadership is also alarming. One reason the Clemson faithful hold Dabo in such high esteem is because of personal integrity. Not much of it left in Washington. Perhaps I am naive but the Clinton’s and Trump’s are historical lows in my lifetime.
