Went full blown UDP today

Jul 20, 2019, 2:13 PM

And used a public boat ramp.

Not trucks were sunk.

No people carried trailers down the ramp.

I only use public launches but the upstate is diff than low country.

Jul 20, 2019, 2:55 PM

Lived down there for 10 years and had a boat but I still always went UDP public launches.

In God’s country our lakes have so many public launches it’s not even UDP, it’s just where u launch.

In-laws have a place on upper wando. Needed to put boat back in water.

Got it in no problem.

Took the family to Wando Marina Grill and got fuel and lunch.

Wood dew again

Tide must have been high or the boat was small

Jul 20, 2019, 10:33 PM

no pulling a big boat from there on low tide.

It was high tide most of the day, so I'll with #1

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

We timed it for near high

Jul 20, 2019, 10:37 PM

12:24 was big paradise island high tide.

We put it in right around 11:15.

21 ft tidewater.

I have used that landing a couple of times. I asked the guy ahead of me if I should know anything. Mostly that since there is no floater that loading people is tough and to stay in the tiny channel.

Just my FIL, so no floater wasn’t a problem.

And LULZ at Shem creek. I’m a member of Hobcaw and if I’m dropping a boat on this side of town, it will be there

I'd never leave Hobcaw***

That’s where I learned to swim

Jul 20, 2019, 10:42 PM

And our first boat was a 14 ft McKee.

Mrs Fluff questioned when I wanted to join again. Now our kids are learning to swim there and we are there weekly.

If you ever wanna go holla at me
