Nov 5, 2018, 5:32 PM

Hate it getting dark at 6... Anyone else?
How do we lobby to get this changed ?

Yep, worthless, it is...

and has no basis other than maybe one time a hundred fifty years ago the kids pulled potatoes in the fall. Daylight isn't saved at all, just shifted. Time-worn tradition which has no value, but will take all the lobbying and then some, to change.

Um, no...

Nov 6, 2018, 7:28 AM

that wouldn't save any time. And there was no synchronized time yet anyway. It could be 12:00 in Boston and maybe 12:15 in Chicago. No time zones yet. Those didn't come in till the train transportation guy overhauled the system in the 1850s'

I agree..and what's worse is that Florida didn't participate

in DLS this year. So if you have an online meeting it narrows the hours of the day to schedule meetings when you have multiple east coast locations.

It needs to stay consistent.

Also, it costs lives every year as the number of accidents skyrockets in the month following the time change.

I love it. Daylight savings time is pretty much the bee's knees.

Sux it does. Nothing like it getting dark at 5pm on Christmas Eve

Nov 5, 2018, 6:35 PM

Think California and several other states have gone full time day light savings. Would love to see SC follow suit

For relaxing times, make it Suntory time

I would rather us not do ANYTHING that California does. Just sayin

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Generally I might agree with that

Nov 5, 2018, 7:30 PM

I’d rather not have the sunrise at nearly 9:00am

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

WE ARE ON STANDARD TIME NOW!

Nov 5, 2018, 9:20 PM

Daylight saving time is what happens in the spring.
