they all are waiting on Hilinkski.
sad part is Joyner would probably be clemson's 3rd string qb right now and would at least have a shot at QB.

No Joyner would be redshirting here while learning how to play DB. He would then be contributing a lot next year. Dude is a great athlete.

A kid from my area walked on to South Carolina's football team. He was home recently and told one of the high school coaches that he doesn't expect Joyner to ever have a chance to play QB there. He said he is not anywhere close to the other 2 guys even with their limited ability.
On another note he also said that he feels like QB Scar (whatever his name is) outperformed Bentley in the spring and summer but the competition wasn't open so it was ignored. He said the kid isn't anything special he just never makes mistakes and always makes the routine throws.

Nepotism would imply that the coaches could see he wasn't the clear cut best player.
However with nepotism on the table, they are either crooked or ignorant. The next few years should tell the tale. They could be both...

the last number one QB that had basically no good offers in HS transferred to Northwestern. We will wait eagerly to see what happens here. I mean ESPN has not gotten this one right in a while.

He had good offers in his region, and no Bama did not offer the kid, nor did any other SEC programs outside of Florida. UNC and Miami were the only ACC program outside of Clemson to offer him. The kid was not the number 1 QB, let alone a national recruit. We all saw it in person when he could not beat Bryant out in year 2. We can certainly make an argument that the kid Bama ended up with is a lot better from that class.

There’s a reason hardly anyone recruited him as a qb. Derion Kendrick was a better high school qb than him

he is not a Power 5 QB.
If he were at Clemson he would be adding depth to the DB rotation.

Clemson didn't recruit either to play QB. They don't have a future as a QB. They MAY have to play the position in case of emergency, but they are a temp fix not a QB solution.

Why would ANYONE go to U5C if Stanford is an option. Stanford has a better football program and provides a significantly better education.

Some kids prefer Southern California over Santa Clara, so they chose USC.
