None of that matters. When you put the game in the hands of an official or another team then you're at the mercy of fate. If you make fouls shots (I think we missed 5 down the stretch vs UNC), and don't get complacent sitting on a 16 point lead there's also no bubble talk. Those are things we controlled and failed to execute. This team not making the tournament is on the team, not any officiating, ACC scheduling, bad luck, ides of march, insert other lame excuse here, etc. etc.

All I hear about is
1. How no one knows how the new metrics will be viewed...and then
2. Everyone uses the old metrics to state why Clemson won't make it.
So...I went the simple route.

I'm amazed at the number of people who seemingly want us to fail, and who are spending time and energy arguing for why we shouldn't be in the tournament.

But that doesn't excuse the HORRIBLE officiating. ACC games are often close, competitive affairs, and the fact that poor/inconsistent officiating determines the outcome is inexcusable.

Reality is, in the last 9 years Clemson is 4 and 9 in ACC Tournament play. Clemson has been eliminated in the first round 5 of the last 9 years.
