Kelly generally “reads” one option best ... his own number.

I don’t think he’s selfish, I just don’t think he is adept at quickly and accurately reading the defense on the option.

He’s a fine runner, but he would be terrible as a triple option QB in my opinion.

I felt exactly the same way about Woody Dantzler.

Homer Jordan and Rodney Williams knew how to run the option.
