Any of you guys not vaccinate your kids?

My brothers has 2 kids...6weeks and 14 months. His wife isn't going to let him vaccinate his kids. Seems nuts to me. She thinks it may lead to autism. The measles can lead to blindness, brain damage, or even deafness.

He is pretty wild and isn't a pushover, but they are one of those nuts couples that has domestic violence. She is more nuts, but they both get going. It's not that simple. Things blow up for them. Sad situation in my mind. Now kids aren't getting vaccinations.

Yeah he is a simple boat captain, barely graduated high school, and doesn't read or show any interest in anything but fishing. The only reason he knows it's an issue is because my Mom told him. He is a good guybin my mind, but he doesn't delve to deep into issues. Put it this way, he is 42 and has never voted before.

I also think it's a little strange that we pop them so quickly with so many vaccines at one visit. Do we really need to hit them with Hep B a few hours after they come into the world?
Then hit them again with a 2nd round of Hep B and 4 other shots at their 1 month checkup? Of course you'd be an idiot not to do it, but just seems like a pretty major shock to a brand new immune system. Why not maybe do one vaccine per week for that first month?
