I believe BV has spoken at length at his selling a dream to his son and players. He makes it quite clear he is well compensated and professionally stimulated so, I don’t believe he leaves us this year. No one wants to be the first to follow a legendary coach in my opinion.

You must not have been on this site back in the day. Many of US! Threw out these names and he named all the reasons why. This was the sentiment with at least 50% of the fan base.
Many of us have posted since (probably more than once) that it is great to eat the crow that we have eaten.
TDP saw the leader that Dabo was. Quite honestly he would be high up in the insurance company had he chosen that field to “bloom where he was planted.”
Clemson will have another coach that wins. Not sure it will ever have a better leader. So proud of what Dabo has done for Clemson!

When Charley Pell left Frank Howard said to ask the players who they wanted to take over. Danny Ford was their choice. A lowly assistant given the job because the players wanted him. With Dabo, the AD noticed players hung out in Dabo's office and enjoyed being around him. So he made him the interim coach and the rest is history. Both players' coaches.
