The major beef I have with Brownell...

CBB is a good in game coach, but needs to improve on developing basketball IQ on the team (think Eli Thomas shooting a 20ft shot or Shelton driving into traffic against UNC). However, that is not the biggest issue.

My question, directed at Dan Radakovich, is why does a coach who obviously needs to improve somewhere to take the team to the next level keep #### Bender on staff? I don’t think the players like him. He’s obviously a nepotism hire going back to Brownell’s years at Depauw. I’m not saying Bender is horrible, but there’s no indication that he’s an asset. We could hire an ace recruiter, or a coach who could actually develop guys like Amir Simms, but instead we have one of Brownell’s buddies. Not a fan of that when the team isn’t winning at a high level. Just a thought.

bender is no kin to brad i am pretty sure. most coaches hire guys they know and like and many have been with the same guy for years. what kind of ignorant statement was that.

That might be the next assistant that DRad might ask DRad to let go like Mike Winikie two years ago.

Go look at Bender's teams he was an assistant before he got here and those teams were not very good to say the least...
