relief Pitching just about gave it away but thankfully that did not happen and thus the Braves Win the series over the Nationals in extras 5-4 and go up 6.5 games in the NL East over Washington

....and if I had a gastrointestinal system, I'd need a bank loan to purchase Zantac in bulk quantity.......between, Clemson football and basketball and Braves baseball, I need industrial strength antacids and comprehensive psychiatric help.

During last night's game the Braves announcers were talking about Chris Martin of the Texas Rangers joining the Braves today.His ERA at Texas this season was 3.08 over 38 appearances.Hopefully he'll make a difference and help the Braves relievers out of the bullpen.

That would be awesome, just hope we didn't have to give up too much for them. Chris Martin has also been pitching lights out the last 30 days or so.

I wouldn't know because I have Dish Network which is currently in pricing disputes with FSS and Fox in general.

Everybody in the majors needs pitching and you know why? Because the blinking ball is so juiced pop fly outs are homers. These pitchers are getting shell shocked when they make a pretty good pitch and it ends up in the seats. Then they get scared to throw strikes and end up walking more. By definition the relievers aren’t as good as the starters so when you get in somebody’s bullpen things go sideways. The Braves pen was actually the best in the NL up until the Allstar break I believe.
