made me so Giddy for what is to come this season. We are so far ahead of where we were last season on offense.

And I'd say that Amari is the one best-suited to take over HF's short-yardage role, but with blazing speed (6 months after knee surgery!) post-catch.

Yup, we haven't really looked consistently sharp in any game, and we're still killing.
This offense is going to get better and better and Amari will be a big part of that.

Pretty sure Rogers and not Overton will be getting the majority of snaps at slot as the season wears on.

I was really happy for him. He's tough. He's reliable. He has deceptive speed. With the offense struggling to stay out of its own way, it was nice to have an explosive play like that.

successor to Hunter Renfrow, who was sneaky fast but with the best hands since Fred Bilitnikoff. And, no stickum!
(I know, none of you younguns ever heard of Fred Bilitnikoff. I hated him, he was ALWAYS catching passes with his body three feet out of bounds, but his toes glued to the sideline. Check the NFL Hall of Fame.)

What do you call that play we used to run with Artavis where he came in motion and DW tossed it to him in a pass version of a handoff, and then Artavis abused the defense all the way to the end zone, especially sooners and chickens? And will that play work with Amari?

The Jet Sweep. And yes it can work with him but I believe we usually run it from the boundary or field WR.
