When ever this happens to a current or former student athlete down in #### hole Colombia, everybody makes a joke about it but when it happens to to a team you root for it's how sad you feel for these players and hope they get the help they need. I don't wish ill on anybody but i hope these guys get the proper punishment that fits the crime and can learn from this and become better people for it. FYI, I'm not a coot and I'm a proud graduate of Clemson but some people on hear think the world revolves around Clemson sports (yea, I know this is a sports board). When ever a crime is committed anywhere, weather its in Clemson or cootlumbia it always has a broader affect on everybody that was touched by these stupid crimes.

Not too many people that visit prison come out a better person.
Not really how our justice systems works. If only that were true I would agree with your sentiment.
I believe as members of the clemson family forgiveness is quickly given when compared to a stranger esp a rival.
If your son or daughter was accused of this, what would be your reaction?

You are right about that prison doesn't rehabilitate people actually people that come out have a hard time fitting with society again. IMHO

nothing in my op stated i hope they get a prison sentence for this. Regardless of what family it happens to, let the punishment fit the crime.

WHat were the circumstances and what the individual's prior arrest history can be factors in sentencing. Crystal clean records would definitely help as opposed to having a few priors.

on top of whatever sentence they get for the robbery in itself. It wil be interesting to see how it all works. I am hoping the gun charge is dropped and they get PTI and learn their lesson and have great lives. A felony will just ruin their lives. The jail time will be the easy part. The harder part who be finding a great career being a felon for the next 50 years of their lives.
