, on RPOs does that type of option take longer than just doing play action? Do defenses really stay disciplined and cover our QB to run? Seems like a simple play action would be as effective and a little quicker for TL to go through his progressions if he is going to pass.

RPO =every time the ball is snapped-even punting, and field goals.
Why does EVERYBODY have to make up an acronym these days??? They get old.

If you worked for the government and get paperwork that's full of them which are the same acronyms from previous stuff-only standing for something else - on and on and on-you'd hate them as well.

translated: You are right, acronyms are used way too much. I prefer using the actual word to convey meaning. Although I do get using RPO. Spot on thanks for posting.

Mike - you may be onto something there. Since I remember TL actually running ONCE, why bother to try and make the read option?
That said, TL probably needs to learn how to do that and make the proper reads, and make them quickly as a running QB seems to be an integral part of our normal offense. It's just not there yet.

The exchange is not there-that's why we fumbled against Syracuse. Trevor was pulling it out and Travis was holding on-both of which were good ideas--just not at the same time
