they honored a Clemson grad 2 or 3 star General who lead the 3rd Armor Division in the first battle against the Iraqi's in Fallujah ( and I apologize to all the Vets if some of that was not 100% accurate, but it is close as my memory allows). Anyway, they stated over the loud speaker, that when the battle commenced, the General had the play.....TIGER RAG! The ovation he got was amazing.

Thanks for repeating it. I was there and couldn’t hear it clearly due to people talking. I thought that was what they said but really grateful to get that confirmed. Remarkable man, remarkable story.

The Fallujah battle was perhaps the hardest of them all. The enemy fought to the death.
