I will need to get away Saturday from my wonderful wife's family. Any advice on where to watch the game in Hilton Head? Thanks.

Moved to HHI three years ago...

Unfortunately haven’t found a “great” spot to watch games but I’m mostly the type that has to watch games from the comfort of home where a good hat throw isn’t frowned upon...
That said there are a few okay spots. Hickory Tavern on 278 is your best bet for a true sports bar with a bunch of TVs. Service there is spotty but if you sit at the bar you’ll probably be okay.
A second place is called Club Seats Grille. Have been here twice with very mixed results. First time was good, second time was iffy at best. Again, service is an issue which unfortunately you’re going to find is the case at most places on HHI during the off-season when the tourists are gone.
If you don’t mind a 15-20 minute drive, Southern Barrel is a brewpub in Bluffton that is a good spot. It’s not directly on HHI which could be an issue but it has plenty of TVs, good food and great beer. That would be my pick but as I said it’s just a little bit off the island. Service here is generally much better than the first two spots.
Unfortunately there’s no great sports bar on HHI and now that we’re moving into the off season the service at most places will be iffy at best.

plenty of TV’s in & out and family friendly too.
Great fries, pizza, Salads with various grilled fish, chicken plates, beer but no mixed drinks but those slushie type rum runners & margaritas that will knock your socks off!
Around corner from theatre is FiSH & more upscale but one huge TV but with multiple games. Had Great Peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream last week but may be gone.

I never found a good pro Clemson place to go

Didn't see any anti Clemson establishments either. Most places were indifferent back when I watched our NCAA tourney games. XO at the Omni was a good drinking spot with lots of tvs, but I'm sure that's about the same at most hotel sports bars in the area.

I would get a spot at the outside bar at Poseidon. Beautiful view of Broad Creek, great food, and excellent service.

Wife's high school reunion. Any suggestions on a Clemson friendly place to watch the game?

Because my wife went to Wilson Hall, not May River

Sumter seems like a Coot town. Exhibit A: Her classmates scheduled the reunion on SCAR's open date. Hmm...could be interesting. We had better win the game, or I may end up getting escorted out of the reunion.
At least my wife was smart enough to get out of there and go to Clemson. My school was a little different - 22 of 66 in my graduating class went to Clemson (self included).

I’d be at Wild Wing Cafe, personally.

The last time I was in HHI, Wild Wing was the only legitimate option I found for watching football.

Wild WIngs is a coot bar

It's always good to go in there after the annual drubbing for a celebration beer.
Last I heard the local alumni chapter is supposed to gather at Cheap Seats on Mathews Dr, but when I went there a few years back nobody was there.
Casey's used to be good, but it sucks with the new owners.
Sorry I can't help more, but Im interested in what you find out.

I’m from there and my only recommendation is Wild WIngs! I will say, the few times I ventured out on Gameday, I would ask them to turn to Clemson games...most places will. Good luck!
