So I have a bluray player that has been great up until now. I play bluray discs and they work fine.
When I play dvds, the picture shows up but no sound. I've tried many different dvd discs so thats not the problem.

Is it the player or could it be the hdmi cable?

electronics expert, I can almost guarantee that you are low on audio fluid. Just add water to the back of the bluray player until you can get over to Media Play to get some.
