big deal. People packed on the hill gives our stadium more a completed bowl look. It also is a key area for noise when opponents are threatening the east endzone. It looks bad when people aren't there. For big games, some students will end up in the upper deck (loss of noise), but some will simply go back to the dorm (loss of noise and attendance). Dabo wouldn't have mentioned the red tape situation if he didn't want something done about it. Something needs to be done about it. It makes no sense that for over six decades, there was no problem there and now there is.

An empty hill, and next thing you know..they'll start talking about putting seating on the HIll.

Wow, you guys are slow. This is a way for them to get seating on the Hill. Just keep restricting access until the old timers complain and then they will build the seating.
Best conspiracy of all time guys!

Seriously a nooner with wake saw the most face value tix being offered all season.
Sometimes even season tix holders aren't that into it.

butts up. We got there at 8:45, set up a canopy, set the table, ate brunch, and got to the gates 45 minutes before the game started. So, did hundreds of other people in our parking lot.
And, you are telling me that it is “no big deal” that those students couldn’t roll out of bed before noon and get to the game?
You are sadly mistaken!

Entrance to the hill is more strict than ever

If you used to have a lower deck student ticket and it gets overly packed (always does), you could go over to the hill for relief.
Now they scan your ID to get on the hill and stop letting the student on at a certain point until after they run down.
Recent success, meeting at the Paw regulations and other things have changed too.

I hate to say it but if there are going to be these kind of regulations just build seating on the hill and leave the entrance portion.

This is exactly why they are doing this. They want people to think this way so they can make more money.

in the year when he mentioned something about building in the east endzone.
Anyway, you took the words out of my mouth. They can build stadium seating and leave the strip of hill that the players run down. Would look awesome.

All this bull about the students not being on the hill and my daughter is stuck in the nose bleeds. Every home game her and her friends are stuck up there.

cardboarding occurring on the hill due to sparcity of students.
Of course, now with a larger student body and numbers of fans, it's usually packed. I'd say load it up with high school kids admitted at cheapo depot prices, if necessary.

Dabo needs to give us the most exciting 25 seconds in CFB back if he wants to gripe about how many people are on the hill.
