Dexter and the Gray guy that went to Michigan. They

were the top two DL’s their senior year and Michigan pulled out all stops to make him sign there.
Question is, if he had come to Clemson, who on our last year’s DL would not have started?

If he took anyone's spot it would clearly be Bryant, but he would have to be better than he was at Michigan.

I thought he had some sort of attitude issue... would the chemistry been there? I can't imagine a better group of guys than our DL.
I don't want to unfairly besmirch a guy, so if I am wrong, I apologize.

Many rumors about why he went to Michigan, but bottom line is NJ tends to be BIG 10 country.

Yep, Gary was just like Fleming this year imo. They just get a steady diet of b1g and not much coverage on other teams. Gary always struck me that he preferred to be the big fish in a small pond.

all the hype but I don't think his play was that much better than Bryant . I'd take Bryant over Gary due to his heart,enthusiasm and leadership. Let's not forget he could have gone Pro but stayed to take care of unfinished business .

I can’t disagree with the comment about Bryant’s heart, enthusiasm, and leadership. He was certainly selfless at the end of the season. However if Gary was exposed to Dabo’s culture for 3 years perhaps his character might have deleloped a little differently. We’ll never know.
