Daughter's first football practice. She gives it a 5/10.

Her favorite part was stiff arming the tackling dummy and running.

Her least favorite part was the helmet pressing on her ears and not being able to play with the other girls that run around and play under the bleachers.

She swam for 3 hours yesterday, then had a 1 hour gymnastics class, then went to a 2 hour football practice. All of the physical activity got her pretty tired, so she was whiny for part of the practice. Hopefully she sleeps in this morning and is rested better for practice #2.

I think she'll be fine. I give her a 75% chance of making it through the season. She's tough and determined (read stubborn) enough to at do all of the conditioning. Once she joins in on the contact drills, all bets are off. I guess we'll wait and see...
