~55 offensive plays. Do you think the offense will be able to hit the 80 play target with GT trying to shorten the game?
It feels like the offense could explode in this game. But they’ll need the snaps for that to happen.

With the past few years as an example I would like to say that we will hold GT to a lot of 3 and outs. Therefore putting our offense back on the field, Clemson dominates the run game and has done excellent against GT's option so I do believe we will be able to play per usual if not get more snaps than normal.

That’s a good point. It just seems like they can drain nearly a whole quarter with one good drive.

We ran 78 plays on them last year with a MUCH less dynamic offense and in a downpour. Odds are we run 80+
|

Haha I am questioning if the offense has a coming out party, which I could see happening with 70-80 plays.

Don't forget that GT must make first downs to burn plenty of clock. CBV has a way to keep them from doing that.

Georgia Southern was attempting to do the same thing but could not sustain a drive. They were using the entire clock time to shorten the game. Several of our scoring drives were of short duration so that usually reduces the total number of plays. However, we were playing at a faster tempo against GS tah we were in our earlier two games.

GT plays to our strongest point , trying to run.
Nobody is going to run the ball on us , I don’t care how they try it.
I’m not worried about this game because no way GT can throw enough to beat us.
The only way a team will beat us this year is with a excellent QB.
