Boston Weather Will NOT Be a Factor

Nov 7, 2018, 1:39 PM

40ish Degrees and 18mph Winds from the West are not like playing in the Snow at Ann Arbor in December. The 40s in a stadium down on the field feel 50ish and with Alumni Stadium's highest stands blocking the West winds you might get some odd swirls in the S endzone but I think it will almost be perfect football weather. Many highschool games in the South get played in this kind of weather all the time.

I've been thinking this same thing. Needless to say even Ann Arbor in December I wouldn't have much worry with how talented Trevor is but I would really love to see him quiet the doubt early in this game!

Has anybody ever played in snow in Ann Arbor in December

Maybe practiced...

Still, I get your point, and agree

When football players are out on the field running, hitting, falling, blocking, tackling, throwing, catching and kicking, I don't think they are too concerned about 40 degree weather. The folks sitting in the stands? Different story.

the AC in our indoor practice facility? 40 degrees?

What about giant fans to simulate the winds anticipated at BC?

They're football players.

The bigs prefer a chilly game vs. the hot humid games.

fingers may get a little cold, though the receivers wear gloves. I know it always seems colder the first few cold days of the year, than later on in the winter.
