Could we play unc again in the ACC championship game?

If unc plays like they did today they win out. That would put them in the ACC championship game playing us.

My guess is that a couple of teams end up 6-2 with a tiebreaker in play....or maybe someone goes 7-1..
Unc pulled a Syracuse today....gave it a great shot...but we’ll see what they are made of on the road as the season goes on. Maybe they can get bowl eligible. But they are a 2-3 team. They are not winning out in any universe.
Once again...it’s hard to win every game...that’s why Clemson & Bama are special.

A lot of effort on their part but they’re not a great team. We just flat out didn’t execute on offense. UVA is the best team in the Coastal IMO.

UNCheat is simply not that good, so NO. I think the UVA is way better, and even playing at UNCheat, our opponent will be UVA. I do think UNCheat wins the rest of their games though, with a possible loss to Duke.

At the Delaware score and dismissing Pitt they are foolish , Pitt sat 5 starters including their qb Pickett. They dominated the game like 440 yards to 170. The 2 Delaware tds came on Pitt TOs - 1 inside the RZ and the other just out. Pitt could easily be sitting 4-1 with a road win at PSU and a loss to UVA. I personally think the Coastal is better than they are getting credit for- it’s still like 5 teams capable of beating each other each week but those 5 are at a higher level than they’ve been the last few years. 4 of them have pretty good qbs with Miami being the outlier with an unproven qb but probably better surrounding talent than most of the others

But they won’t play like this the rest of the season.

They were looking ahead to playing us when they played WF and App St. and lost. They have the opportunity to play us again with 2 weeks left in the season and they’ll probably lose another game or two.

Of course they are going to give us their best shot. You think they are going to do that against GT, VT, Pitt? I truly think UNC can go 7-5. But will they? And that still won’t get them in the ACC Title Game.

UNC played with a real edge yesterday and our guys just didnt have it. Defensively we woke up at times.. especially in the 2nd half. That Simmons sack where he blew up the blocker was a thing of beauty... but we have a game or 2 like this every year in the first 5-6 games that is closer than comfort and explainable.

2015 - Louisville
2016 - NCSt*
2017 - Cuse
2018 - Cuse
2019 - UNC

* - 2016 had the loss against Pitt late in the season

So we will see what happens. Hopefully this is the spark.
We will likely see Alabama go to #1 today.. which most of the pundits have been itching to do that anyway so now they have a reason... they will feel so relieved :)
