Could Feaster run the slot and return?

Didnt he wheel route a ton at Spartanburg?

Does he have the quick twitch that Renfrow, Scott, and Rodgers have? He did thrive in the slot/wheel route passing game at SH. Not a bad idea if he can run quick, clean routes. Seems most of his high school success just basically came from getting him the ball in space - effectively an extended pitch to the edge. How would that transition to actually running downfield and intermediate routes?

We will miss Renfro tremendously no matter who plays slot

Renfro’s almost automatic 3rd down conversion capability kept so many critical drives alive.

Our offense will be very different next season.

It may be better (or at least not worse) considering the number of other weapons, but without Renfro it will be different.

No - Kendrick is the only other guy than Amari that has the quick moves to separate in the slot. Not sure about TJ Chase, but that guy is possibly good enough to handle that position.

I think trying to replace Renfrow with ANYONE is going to make a lot of people wonder just how great Renfrow was. We need to tone down our expectations for the slot position IMO. Otherwise, plan to complain a lot.

I’ll take DK in the slot

I like Feaster on Returns. Not Slot.

Feaster is more a: "plant and go"! Stick his foot in the ground and just beat you with speed. DK - is a lot more elusive in tight quarters. DK has to work on his hands; but as far as text book slot guy; "he is as text book as you will find"! Explosive, quick, twitchy and wants to break everything for a big play.
I see Feaster being a better K/R because you don't have time for the jukes often times. It's plant your foot after seeing a seam and go! He does that exceptionally well!

I'm betting Brannon Spector, after wetting his feet . . .

and getting enough reps, is going to be a pleasant surprise!!!! Until then???

DK is going to be the man!!!

We will be fine. Don't ever worry about the WR spot

Mar 27, 2019, 9:05 PM

Higgins, Ross, Kendrick, Powell, Chase, Overton, Ngata, Spector, Ladson... Too much talent. We could run out 3 different elite groups even without Amari and Renfrow.

Renfrow will be sorely missed more than anyone else IMO.
