This may be ugly, but is Lee Corso the highest paid dementia patient?

Not including politicians of course.

Come on man. That’s classless...

Comes off in bad taste to joke about such a horrible disease. Seriously.

not making fun of dementia. Making fun of espn

For continuing to put him on stage week after week. He is well passed doing this well. It’s obvious Kirk Herbstreit is put right beside him to pick up slack when needed and cover for him. No way I’d put my grandparents or parents on display like that to look that foolish.

no matter what I'll always like corso.

I wish people would lay off him. He can't help he's getting old. Jeez

It did come off ugly, because it is.

And you should feel at least slightly ashamed for that post. Valiant attempt to cover your butt with this reply, but you know what you were doing in the OP.

Beyond that, since this thread has opened us up to being petty....... the word you were looking for was "past", not "passed". If you want to make fun of someone's mental capacity you shouldn't mess up the tense of a word. Then again, maybe you don't know the difference and you thought "passed" was the right word there. Either way, haha at you, you don't write well. Did I do that right?

Totally agree. Sounds like something a coot would say.

Everyone knows he had a stroke and struggles up there. We also see how they all look out for him. It adds a beneficial human, warm and fuzzy feel to see the show. It's kind of like that other ESPN show with the old Cuban father. It makes us all smile. We all have family. Sports.

Pretty low to make a comment like that about a man trying to recover from a stroke. One day you will be old Lovingit and some will see how you handle it.

Don't know if he was diagnosed with dimentia or not....

Nov 24, 2018, 12:58 PM

If he has then I feel bad for him and his family.... Terrible condition for everyone involved. And, if he was diagnosed with it then he probably is the highest as you point out. Wish him well.

I recently read an article about what he goes through to prepare for each broadcast. His parts are scripted and he learns each response. It was awesome to hear how his fellow Gameday partners are protective and helpful to him. I used to get frustrated with him before reading that article but I am clearly in awe of him and his prep for each show! Like him or not, he is a CFB icon.
