Coaching turnover DID hurt Bama

Jan 10, 2019, 12:16 PM

Without the turnover, Bama could have easily went 55-4 over the past 4 years with 3 SEC Champs and 2 Nattys. It's a shame what all that turnover did to prevent Bama from playing at a high level....... oh, wait.

G T F O with these lame *** excuses.

Coaching turnover DID hurt Bama...I don't CARE!

Not our problem, we would have kicked them to the curb regardless.

How can anyone possibly know that coaching changes hurt Alabama's chances? My goodness, will the excuses never stop? All of this has really reduced the huge respect I once had for the Bama' program, and I'm surprised that Nick Saban hasn't stepped in and said to these cry-babies, Shut Up!!! It's an embarrassment to their program and their university. I'll guarantee you that Bear Bryant would have stepped in and put his foot on this shameful display in a skinny minute. Unfortunately, there are very few Bear Bryants left in the world, and fortunately we have one of them at Clemson. Had we lost this game, Dabo would have stepped up and said in effect, "We got beat." Let's now revise the song, "Sweet home, Alabama" to "For shame, Alabama." More appropriate to their recent history. Ah, how the mighty have fallen.

Who me? I wasn't kidding! But hey let's have a unifying "cum-bye-yah" moment, and join in singing, "For shame, Alabama." One, two,three.....

You'll to have to Alabama that one since they are the only ones in the excuse market right now.

"ask Alabama." Sorry.

I just think it can be both true and also not an excuse

It's a by-product of the way Saban runs his program which can be both incredibly successful and also lead to situations like this where the turnover finally caught up with them a little bit. Their staff got thoroughly out-coached by Clemson's staff on Monday night. But lets be honest here, Locksley and Lupoi is easily the weakest coordinator duo we've squared off against in our 4 meetings with Bama.

It's never a problem when they win, so I'd have to say it's not a problem when they lose.
