Breckinridge is the coldest place to ski in Colorado. Should have went to Copper.

Beaver Creek... It's the 'smooth' side of Vail. I do like

Breckenridge is not the coldest place to ski. That would be Crested Butte. And it's not even close.. Gunnison is just down the road and it's the coldest town in the rockies.

It's a close 2nd then. I'm here at nearby Keystone, and the high today is supposed to top out at 0! Not even gonna venture out to the slopes before 10!..

0 isn't bad in Colorado, actually it's a good day to go out! Just layer and then once you get going, it feels great. That dryer air makes it more bearable than say Vermont. I'm going up to Vermont next weekend and it should be #### cold.

I know that some years they've gone to Beaver Creek, down the road from Vail. Skied both many times. I prefer the 'blue' slopes at BC. Vail is a little too glitzy for us!

At one point there was talk of joining the two slopes. Maybe that has already occurred?
