If Penn State beats Minnesota (which they probably will) they will jump us
and if LSU loses a close game to Alabama (like less than 3 pts)
It could look like:
#1 Bama
#2 Ohio State
#3 Penn State
#4 LSU
#5 Clemson
Good News is 2 weeks later ohio state and Penn state play each other and will play a ranked Wake Team....
I know if we win, we are in... but would be interesting to have the defending champions... winners of 25 straight, outside looking in

We could possibly be #5 tomorrow night as well. I'd be shocked if we're not behind LSU and Ohio State. I think we'll be ahead of Penn State, but I can't rule out the committee ranking them ahead of us with 2 wins over top 25 teams in Iowa and Michigan. I don't think either of those teams are all that great, but they are in the top 25. I think it's 50/50 whether we'll be ahead of Alabama or not as their schedule thus far hasn't been any better than ours, but it could go either way. I honestly could see us starting out anywhere between 3-5 tomorrow night.

They will have to keep LSU and Bama 1 & 2 because they're already too busy advertising this weeks game as 1 vs 2.
Everything will work out just fine. The committee isn't the AP.

Not sure why the committee would rank teams based on hype of upcoming games. I'd be surprised to see Alabama ahead of Ohio State, and don't see us ahead of Ohio State in the first ranking either.

Which poll are you referring to, because if it's the AP or Coaches poll there are a moot point? Starting this week the only poll that matters is the College Football Playoff Poll, and we will be top 4.

I think if they are smart they'll look at consistent D play for ALL games and realize Trevor throwing early interceptions and not living up tot he media's desired hype is really the biggest negative.
I trust that they do look at body of work.
Either way, Bama/LSU will have a loss and Penn State/Ohio St will have a loss.
Of course this is all predicated on Clemson not having an unexpected loss and then even I'll start praying.

Nope...LSU loses a close one, they at best would be 5. The AP bias is out as of tomorrow. A one loss team, no matter what, will not be put over an undefeated due to the records not being equal.
