I’ve made no secret of wanting Clay Webb in a Clemson Tiger uniform. What little he has said about himself made it clear that Clemson Would be a great fit for him.

Will have Pinkney, Williams, Jefferies, T. Johnson, X. Kelly, and possibly convert one or two of the DEs we have coming in. These guys are gonna have to step up for sure.

Our DT’s coming in are good and DE’s are great. We need to protect Trevor and make sure teams have to throw often to play catch up. Fits perfect to our talents for the next few years.

He would be a great one for OT. Kid is 6'6" 310. Clemson is high on his list but hasn't had a visit as of now. School is in the playoffs so the earlist he could go would be for the Duke or SCAR game. Coaches need to work hard on this guy. Has had a great senior year. He has visited tOSU, PSU (4) times, and Michigan and also Georgia.

I’m not positive, but I believe I met this young man and his mom in Clemson. He was with Coach Caldwell and a few players having dinner. Think it was late spring/early summer. Thought I read he was high in tOSU. Anybody else remember this? Seemed like a “Clemson fit.”

Clay would be arguably our "most valuable" 2019 recruit

An anchor of a line at very important center position for three or four years.
Defensive Line next year will be smaller, maybe faster, not as talented but still excellent. Look for XT, Justin Foster, KJ, Mascoll, Rudolph and possibly Shaq Smith in DE rotation where we will be fine. DT position will be tougher to replace especially if Dex leaves, but Pinckney, Darnell Jefferies, Jordan Williams and Xavier Kelly will be looked upon to gain weight and potentially shoot some gaps with big LB's behind them in 2019.
