That's hard core punishment. Wonder if he was forced to skip may drills???

Joking but seems like the natty and playoff games were much bigger punishments than practice.

I would love to miss practice. Maybe he should practice even more for punishment.

All that being said. IN DABO I TRUST

I think Dabo said that they were taking football away until others things got straightened out.

Well , we all know Dabo doesn't mince words ( understatement of the year candidate ) ...and we know that not getting to participate in the 2 biggest games of the year were torture for the kid ( to what level of torture none of us would be able to relate ...so when Dabo says he has to earn it back I can almost safely surmise that young Mr. Cain is paying the price and will come out of this showing everyone that he is a more mature , focused and connected individual for having passed all the mileposts in Dabo Swinney's road to recovery.

Practice is repetition, and repetition makes you better at what you're practicing to do. If Cain was a guy that badly needed practice to do what he does, he would have been in practice. This just proves how much confidence Dabo has in his talent.

He gets his work in after practice with DW4 . I agree if he is gonna be at practice and doing stuff afterwards they should just let him practice don't really see the punishment here.

^^^Spot on. Makes NO SENSE. I can't agree with Dabo on this type of punishment. Either remove him from the area, or let the guy practice. Geez.

Sorry kid - I have to punish you, so you can't have ice cream with the other kids. But when they leave you can have ice cream. Yeah - right - like I would ever do that to punish my kids.

it's not "punishment"; deon suffered the consequences of his actions when he sat the miami game and then again for the OB & NCG.

this is deeper as dabo details & another step along the path. hopefully the clip answers some of the "competitive" football being removed issues and/or confusion?

fingers crossed it doesn't create more.
