Bye week thoughts

1. SEC is only getting 1 team in. Considering everyone is rolling over to Bama, don't foresee anyone taking them out unless Tua's injury ends up being worse than let on. Georgia will take another loss (not so sure they make it to SECCG as a 1 loss team) as will LSU when they line up against Bama.

2. Sucks that Pitt couldn't hang on for the upset of ND. Considering they've pulled the big upset the last 2 seasons, thought they'd make it 3 in a row & squash the ND dilemma. Figure that's either gonna wake ND up & motivate them to run the table or give others hope to take down the Irish

3. The ACC Coastal is a mess. Miami is out the playoff pic officially, & VT needs a late drive to beat UNCheat. Worse, a VT team w/ bad OOC showing is currently undefeated in ACC play. That'll help the national perception of the ACC *cough*

4. CFP hopes for B10 West, Penn St, & PAC12 are officially dead w/ Wisconsin's loss to Michigan, PSU's loss to Sparty, & Washington's loss to Oregon. Could end up w/ a 1 loss Oregon as conference champ & Colorado is still unbeaten but their resumes will get eaten alive in the committee room.

5. B12's CFP hopes are on life support after WVU's loss. Good news for them - OU, WV, & Texas only have 1 loss. Bad news, OU & Texas still have to play WV & 2 of those 3 will have to rematch in B12CG. Plus, all 3 will have resume hang ups.

6. Ohio State has been playing w/ fire having struggles w/ so-so teams. They won't escape regular season w/o a loss IMO. Whether that loss will be 1 that costs them the B10 East division will be seen.

And finally - our bye week is over & we can focus on what really matters...Clemson vs NC State. This could be the biggest game in the history of the Textile Bowl. Win this, I think we're set up to run the table til Selection Sunday.

It was a great Bye week. If only ND lost it would have been about perfect. If we beat NC State we will have by far the best odds to the playoff.

The media was turning on Clemson and all that talk got shoved down their throat his weekend. There is still a lot of season left to play. For all we know WVU, Michigan, LSU, and Colorado will be the playoff.
