Broken Foot = Grassy Knoll/Magic Bullet Theory

Sep 3, 2019, 9:22 AM

Only our grandchildren will know the truth. A least 75 years until the files are released.

Imagine the pain of your foot going "Back & to the left." "Back & to the left.".

Bentley still save face. Bentley is also a scapegoat. The AD blows, Muschump blows, their OL and DL blow...just the fact they started Dowdle and then took Feaster out after his TD was enough for me. It was a little reminiscent of when Tommy Bowden took Reggie Merriweather out of the game when he was running all over the coots. Dumbfounding. What a mess that entire ath dept is.

This way...neither has to answer questions....

about why a senior QB was benched in favor of a true freshman with absolutely no game experience.

Of course, against Charleston Southern, it won't really matter but next week, it will matter greatly so look for Bentley to heal miraculously or will they simply concede defeat.

The only real question now is how did this injury occur because CussChamp specifically told Toad Ellis that uof5c came out of the game with no injuries.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

I'm so glad someone else remembers the way Tammy Bowden treated Merriweather that game. It was disgraceful, and one of the many reasons I'm glad Bowden is gone. And probably the main reason Clemson lost that game.

Tommy didn't take Reggie out of the game. The RB coach was just maintaining the already established rotation. That's why he came out. A poor decision. But it wasn't Tommy pulling him out.

That Reggie Merriweather myth is getting on par with

Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster. Go back and watch the game or read the play-by-play. Reggie had a few nice carries at the beginning of the drive and then Spiller came in for awhile and was even more effective than Reggie, and then James Davis, the best RB on the team that year, came in and got stoned on a couple of carries. To hear people on Tigernet talk you would think Reggie single-handedly drove the team down the field only to be benched down by the goal line. Not true at all.

Reggie had the hot hand in the 4th qtr, when it mattered.

CAR YDS AVG TD LONG
C.J. Spiller 10 155 15.5 2 80
Reggie M. 3 23 7.7 0 10

3 carries is a hot hand? Gotcha.

Sorry but when the stadium is chanting “Reggie, Reggie!” As the senior sparks a stagnant offense, on senior day in the rivalry game. You don’t take him out. I think that was the game I remember somebody throwing something at Tommy from about 30 rows up and getting escorted out of the game. I believe James and CJ were both dinged up that game too. It just wasn’t ever right and in no way is it revisionist history to say that was a terrible decision.
