I was a stay, but my stay started getting pretty rocky when a Southern Conference team came all the way from Virginia and handles us fairly easy close to our on back yard. Most of the liberty player's I don't think would have gotten an offer to play at Clemson. So if Jack did get the AX, I wouldn't complain, but I'm not to the point to say fire Jack just yet.. Just sayin.

Clemson doesn't recruit against Liberty. It recruits against teams in the Southeastern and Atlantic Coast conferences that have better facilities. It's a shame that you're so blind you can't see that Clemson's player amenities are not up to those of other schools in the region. And don't accuse me of saying Doug Kingsmore Stadium is a dump because I've never said that. It's in a beautiful setting and has great press and decent fan amenities. But the facilities that the players use every day aren't up to the standards of most of the teams against whom Clemson competes. That's a fact.

Do you keep up with ANY other programs besides Clemson? Have you watched ANY of the NCAA Tournament games that don't involve Clemson? I've posted over and over links to the facilities that other schools in the ACC have and it's like beating my head against a brick wall.

in 1994. All of those programs you mentioned have made major investments in their programs. Clemson has not.

no one else in the ACC cared about baseball before about the 2000 season. Yeah, coach Wilhelm won a bunch of ACC titles, but that was before FSU joined the conference and when schools like UVa were considering shutting down their programs. This is not Bill Wilhelm's ACC. Not even close.

conference championships mean very little in sports with playoffs. What means more 1 ACC title or 6 CWS appearances. Sorry, but a conference championship doesn't mean much if you can't get to the CWS. So drop the obsession with conference championships. This isn't football. Maybe, that's the sport you need to stick to commenting about.

Acting like a little cry baby over a coach not winning a national title, while his rival has won two. Leggett is a Hall of Fame coach. You would have to be smoking crack to think Clemson would fire Leggett. You really show your ignorance of College Baseball. Leggett is one of the most respected coaches in College Baseball. Sorry, this isn't football where you can fire coaches over knee jerk reactions and still have good candidates knocking at your door.

Also dont try and insult my ignorance of the game it will not work out well for you. We are not a good fundamental team. I can give you an easy example from today.
Guy gets thrown out at first due to #### poor fundamentals on the paths. Next hitter walks. Should be 1st and 2cd with no outs. Next batter wild pitch should now be 3rd and 2cd with no outs. He hits the ball to short. That should score a run. It does not due to #### poor fundamentals.
Those are the small things that separate elite teams from great/good.

coot. The Leggett haters bring up the coots all the time, that's why I made that remark. So don't get mad for someone calling you a coot, when you constantly admire our rival. But one thing is true about all Leggett haters, they admire the coots and think Ray Tanner is so great, even though Ray Tanner has used semi unethical practices to make the coots a better baseball program.
