#1 NO ONE was sentenced much less charged for anything to do with counterfeit money. The same player that was wrongly accused by a pet store clerk months after an instance in a store had a formal report made THIS month that he was in a physical altercation with his girlfriend. He was NEVER arrested or charged BUT Smart released him from the team once facts came out.
Any and all charges on the $$$ were quickly dropped and an apology was made.
Bottom line ... since the facts came out (this month) in the gf incident he is rightfully gone.
#2 Hated to lose the OL especially to another SEC team but he is from Texas and his mother had a serious stroke back in March. She has not made the progress anticipated so he decided to stay at home. Don’t know how anyone can argue against that.
Know the facts ... they matter.
