BC and Virginia are both better than Texas A&M

I don't care what the rankings say.
BC has a better QB and a much better RB than TAMU. I won't claim to know BC's OL and DL that well this year, but from history, I trust they quality of their line play. Disciplined and well-coached team.
Virginia also has a better QB than TAMU, and a better defense. Ask the chickens.
If BC and UVA were in the SEC, they would be ranked, probably in the 12-18 range. I'd take either of them to beat Florida, I can tell you that.

Virginia possibly but BC replaces a ton on the defensive side of the ball.

Maybe BC will be. Top 15 team by the time we play them
Maybe UVA will be highly ranked when we play them in the ACC title game.
Time will tell.

I'm flipping that and saying I want to see TAMU do something on the field to justfy why they are a top-15 team. Last year barely beat terrible Arkansas, barely beat Kentucky, barely beat the chickens, beat terrible Ole Miss by 2 TDs.

I get what you're saying but I think they'd beat both UVA and BC home or away. Maybe they are close games but I just cant see those other two being better.
The SEC gets the benefit of the doubt when it comes to rankings and thats not changing any time soon...maybe when Saban leaves. No way in heck UF or Auburn are top 10 teams. UNC should probably be ranked about their 2-0 start...both are decent wins and they were the underdog.
