we need to beat as many ranked teams as possible..also would be nice if nc state could be unbeaten and crack the top 25 by time we play them

Pretty much any team from a power 5 that is undefeated will get in. It doesn’t happen often.

Not sure if you’ve followed much of Stanford but they were way way overrated in this game. Pundits will make a huge deal out of it but it’s not as big a win that people will make it. I hate it because Stanford is probably barely a top 20 team.

LOL I think a lot of us are thinking that tonight. I was going to make a post on it but felt too lazy.
The ACC should have never allowed them to have that unique agreement to both be in a conference AND also not retaining advantages from both depending on the sport.
Because of the arrangement for how the Bowl season would work for them when that was all drawn out, you just know that they're going to make use of that whole mess to push them into the playoffs at some point, which will be extremely unfair since they won't have a conference championship game of any kind right?
Honestly don't see how it could be justified putting them in undefeated over another undefeated Power 5 conference champ if it came down to that. Or maybe even them undefeated over a 1 loss conference champ would be unfair...shrugs. Depending on how good Stanford ends up looking I guess.

And they do have to deal with Syracuse later this year. And a game at the real USC.
Unfortunately FSU won’t provide much resistance for them.
