I can just see, if LSU would somehow beat Bama, Bama would not drop below 4th, we would probably jump to 1st, and here we go again, playing Bama in a semi game. If we play Bama again, I want it to be in the championship game!
And if Notre Dame wins out, they won't be lower than third, so that would suit me just fine, to play them in the semi.

the opportunity to climb back into the top 4. I want a championship. I could care less about playing the toughest possible opponent out there.

You are totally missing my point! I'm saying, if we play Bama, I want it to be in the final. I would love to see them drop out of the top four, but that WILL NOT HAPPEN, with just a close loss at LSU. In fact, I doubt they would drop lower than third. If we win convincingly this week, and Bama norrowly loses at LSU, next week would be:
1. Clemson
2. LSU
3. Bama
You can take that to the bank, in that scenario. However, I really don't think LSU has enough offense to beat Bama.

If Notre Dame gets in they will have a month to get ready for the team they are playing because they are not in a championship game just like Bama did last year not fair .

It did not help Ohio State to have the bye week. We killed them. Bama does not need the bye week again.

We don't need to be scared of Bama...we can beat them!! That Bama defense gave up 31 to Arkansas and 21 to Tennessee, and they have not seen Trevor Lawrence nor the Clemson Defense. I want Bama, and I want them undefeated coming into the game...I don't want no sloppy seconds. This Clemson team looks every bit as good as Bama on offense since TLaw became the starter, and did not get knocked out of the game. Clemson is also improving, and our defense is much better than Bama. This year we will roll the Tide.

If Alabama loses to LSU the committee will find a way to make them #4 again - no matter what else happens. Happy to play them again but not when they have an extra week to prepare and an extra week to heal and not face additional injuries.
I hope ND loses because I don't want them rewarded for being a halfa$$ member of the ACC. Plus would love to see Syracuse be the one to drop them.
