Disappointed

Apr 3, 2019, 7:58 PM

It’s selfish and I’m a loser. But, the whole time DK was being recruited, and last season, I thought he would emerge as a star WR. Now, that could still happen but it doesn’t seem likely. In any case, I hope he is wildly successful at DB. But i had really hoped it would happen as a WR.

He may have a better shot at NFL as a db***

Absolutely - love the kids attitude. He has what it takes between the ears too.

On offense, 1/3 to 1/2 the plays; on defense, most all plays

I think it's a good move for him. Still returning and playing full time...

Completely agree. I just saw it playing out differently. I’m hoping he still has a role on special teams as a returner. I think he could really have a positive impact there too.

I wonder if this has anything to do with Ladson/Ngata. Maybe it was obvious that they came ready to step right in. He was maybe disadvantaged in that he was having to learn to play WR.

As long as he’s playing for CLEMSON...

I don’t care what position he’s playing.

Top secondary players make big $$$ in the NFL. If he can excel at the spot over the next 2 to 3 years, then go cash your check, DK!

From a career earnings standpoint his future might be brighter at corner. Sounds like he has the physical tools for it and just being willing to make the switch at least part time shows me he has the right attitude and mindset. Big things in store for DK.

Just imagine what he's going to do with the ball

when he intercepts it (which will be often.)

How is disappointment possible

Apr 3, 2019, 9:45 PM

When you get two starters in one recruit...plus a return specialist! Heck, even if he was a 3-star...that would make him almost a perfect 10! Come on, Man! Smile!
