Are the Clemson Tigers living out the Rocky movies?

Rocky I - Gets a shot at the champ, no one thinks he can hang with him, instead pushes champ to the very limit but barely comes up short.
(2015 Clemson)
Rocky II - Gets a rematch, seems to be losing then surges to win the championship in the final seconds.
(2016 Clemson)
Rocky III - [First half of movie] Is the champ, wins a lot of matches.. prepares for big title match but seems to be a little too loose, doesnt have eye of the tiger. Gets soundly defeated...
(2017 Clemson)
Aside from Rocky III being Clubber Lang instead of the Bama Threematch, sounds pretty close... right?

That's funny, i made the same analogy. I said before the game that it was looking like Bama was clubber and I was hoping we weren't being Rocky. That we hadn't lost the eye if the tiger.

i made that analogy last year (at least about Rocky II) and was saying last week that if there's a Bama/Clemson IV where Dabo defeats Communism we'll really be onto something.
