Any of you Tigers live in Orlando?

Dec 29, 2018, 2:53 AM

Visited Disney last week and loved the weather and then some. Thinking maybe time to make a move. What’s the engineering job market/ housing like?
Also, any chance there will ever be fb playoff games held there so I could catch my tigers?

Thanks,
Will aka Tiger5by5

Before making the move try it again in August rather than December. IMHO, Still a good choice, but heat and humidity bother some - it's much worse than coastal SC in the summer.

Was stationed at PAFB in Cocoa Beach back in the 90s

But it had the sea breeze working in your favor. I did notice on the Zillow that every house in Orlando seemingly has a pool.
I’m just sick of these miserable winters. I’ll take heat over that any day.

Just moved back to the Carolinas after more than a decade in central Fl. Winter is awesome there...but 96 degrees everyday for 6 or 7 months out of the year will wear you out.

Where were you working at while you were down there?***

It'll be about 80 today but very humid and balmy feeling.

It's very typical to be 80+ on new years day. After 90+ for 7 months I kind of feel we deserve 70s weather.
