All they've done is a favor to us by putting a chip on our shoulder and pimped 2 prime TV games.
Relax, I can't imagine any sane person really worrying about an undefeated Clemson being left out in favor of non undefeated P5 champs.
Just isn't going to happen, not worth worrying about.

"It's not a dangerous assumption is it tiger_thom"? It is pretty much laid out in the foundation of the playoff committee. Which is pretty much one of the reason the college football know the phrase - "power 5"! That wasn't a thing during the BCS era that I recall. It came about b/c - the conference championship was supposed to be the de facto "playoff"! You send your best team - we send our best team - let's see what happens! Everyone agreed to this!
If Clemson is undefeated being a power 5 champion and left out for a team with a loss who is a "non-champion" all Hades will break loose. I mean - litigation like! The type that will change college football how we know it forever! You all who are making the assumption two SEC teams are destined to get in are forgetting the only reason it happened two years ago is b/c Wisconsin lost to a two loss Ohio State in the Big 10 Championship game. The SEC had a 1 loss team with a better loss/resume than the Big 10 champion - and that's the only reason!
