Alabama's defense slightly better than average

Jul 14, 2019, 5:51 PM

Since until they played Clemson Alabama was the greatest team ever, I'd like to point out that their defense was only slightly better than the average we played. We averaged 44.3 points per game scored and they managed to hold us to 44. If we hadn't missed the extra point they would have been slightly worse than average.

Imagine if they had been well rested . The SEC rigamorough... err , rigors really compromised their ability to look great while losing in spectacular fashion to a soft , finesse team from the worst Power-5 conference in the history of conferences and stuff .

and a mere month off between sec title game and the playoffs just isn't enough. On the other hand, we had a whole month to rest.

its Because SEC offenses are stale and unoriginal

The whole league sucks at developing QBs

Had Dabo not called off the dogs in the entire 4th quarter we would have scored 14 additional points making Bama much worse than average

I think that had good probabilities... Still like that 10:02

94-yard drive and taking the knee... I don't think anything could have shown dominance better.

I agree. that might even have been Insulting. regardless, it was thorough domination.
