I'd demo her crack

Jan 15, 2019, 4:16 PM

house

badge-ringofhonor-clemsonsteve02.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Some houses are too big to keep clean.

Jan 15, 2019, 3:53 PM

That one is too big to even make dirty. Dang.

badge-donor-05yr.jpgringofhonor-aero.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Time to move up to something better, I guess.

Obed®, why did Shaq even put a pool in? Resale value?

"I'm fine, it's only 7'-0" deep"

Jan 15, 2019, 4:23 PM

~Shaq, probably

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Everyone knows a pool is one of the last things you should

Jan 15, 2019, 4:32 PM [ in reply to Re: For you Florida joungers, this pool is gonna get some ]

to do add value to your home.

No, a better idea is to invest money in your air conditioning systems, perhaps even get that basement to stop flooding. That's where you see the real ROI.

Why I was just looking at a house and went

Jan 15, 2019, 4:35 PM

ahead and tossed it aside due to having a pool. It also had too much of that wood paneling. I guess I could slowly fix stuff like that on my own.

badge-donor-05yr.jpgringofhonor-aero.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Seems like wood panelling would make a really horrible

Jan 15, 2019, 4:37 PM

pool siding.

Smart move on your part.

badge-ringofhonor-clemsonsteve02.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I wouldn't want the maintenance costs of a pool

Jan 15, 2019, 4:38 PM [ in reply to Why I was just looking at a house and went ]

But if it were my only access to water, I'd probably suck it up and deal with it.

I always kind of looked at wood paneling from this perspective: The wood paneling itself won't be a big deal to replace....but the fact that there's wood paneling in there at all means there's probably a whole host of #### that you're going to have to fix either immediately, or in the near future.

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-15yr.jpgringofhonor-lakebum1-110.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I don't want to pay the insurance on a pool, much

Jan 15, 2019, 4:40 PM

less maintain it.
