Biggest takeaway from last night for me, anyway, is this:

We played 91 guys last night. 91.

We'll be fine.

Screw Calford.

A few more...

1 - Brice would start at QB for at least 85% of the other P5 teams in college football. The kid is a baller.

2 - Ngata is going to be a good one. Really good.

3 - It is abundantly clear why a former Clemson RB who will remain nameless decided to transfer.

I think Feaster would have been our 2nd best back. Could be 2a or 2b, but he is right there. Our 3rb options arent even ballpark close yet.

He has that elusive first step that Feaster never showed. He's put on good weight and seems to be a lot stronger this year.

So is Feaster. He just had ETN ahead of him.

Feaster ran for 4 years and was never impressive or

Aug 30, 2019, 9:24 AM [ in reply to Re: A few more... ]

Explosive. He would have been 3 and he knows it. If Lyn-J got as many chances as Travis his numbers would be just as good.

I'm not minimizing Feasters contributions...

because I think he is a fantastic RB, but at the end of the day, he saw the writing on the wall after getting passed on the depth chart.

If transferring to a lesser program then becomes the strategy, perhaps the NFL isn't the most prudent career path to pursue.

I’ve got to disagree with you on that. ETN is elite. A first round RB, which is rare these days. Lyn-J is really really good, but not ETN good.

You can't equate Dixon's numbers with Etienne. Dixon has been going against reserves and tired defenses to get his numbers. He is good but he isn't half the running back of Etienne. Maybe he becomes that back later, but now it's not even close.

I was wondering that as well. Surely CDS put them in for a few plays at the end.

Nope. The ACC allows only 72 roster players for road games. I recall some road games last year we played everyone who traveled.
