Just seems unnecessary. That buyout wouldn’t stop Bama or Dabo if they wanted it to happen

I like it. 50 million is a pile of money any way you slice it. Not saying Bama can’t afford it but I do think it would make them think and heck, we’ll need the cash to find someone else. Good move IMO.

Bama or Dabo want to do the buying. It's about 10% of that and gets gradually less if Bama or Dabo do it.

It's a non-issue and a token gesture. Dabo wasn't/isn't/ain't going to Alabama.
