5-1 in games decided by 5 points or less

Wonder what last years record was. This team knows how to win.

4-8 I believe, with 3 more losses by 6 and 1 more by 7

yep 4-8, but only 1 of the wins came after Jan 1 (4-pt win over NCSU on 3/1)

We have won our share of close games. Tonight was a huge win... should give them confidence without Grantham.

That being said, with Grantham I think we beat the tarholes this week and finish 6-3 on our remaining 9 games. Without him I’m thinking 4-5... with possibly being 5-4. Not being negative just realistic.

That would still give us 21-22 wins in reg season and a lock for the dance. I predicted sweet 16 after Florida win but without Grantham, not sure we go that deep.

I don't know about that, Simms looking GOOD !

Granted, he's a wee little Freshman (or First Year as they say at UVa), BUT ... he looks BETTER the Donte did as a Freshman ... think he is going to only get better.

Good free throw shooting definitely helps

Can’t tell you how many games we let slip through our fingers due to horrible free throw shoooting

Brownell's entire tenure seemingly has us on the wrong end

of that statistic. This season is a delightful departure from the norm. We have guys that can finish at the rim and hit extremely clutch shots. Particularly, Reed, Devoe, and Mitchell. This has been a fun team to watch.
