The top-two teams in the nation still have a game to play but the Associated Press honored the top performances of the bowl season on Thursday.

Clemson had a representative on both the first team for the offense and defense, in freshman receiver Justyn Ross and senior defensive end Austin Bryant.

Bryant earned defensive MVP honors in the Cotton Bowl with two sacks and three total stops for loss in his six tackles.

Ross had a breakout performance on the national stage with two touchdown grabs in his six catches for 148 yards Saturday.

Alabama's lone representative was quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who passed for 318 yards and four touchdowns in a 45-34 win over Oklahoma.
